LIZ COSTELLO

 I am happy to be a part of the Opportunity Scholars Program at USC Sumter.  I look forward to answering your questions and assisting you in your math courses.  I have taught math courses at USC Sumter since 1991.
 I have a Master of Science Degree in Mathematics from University of Massachusetts Lowell and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in French and Secondary Education with a minor in Greek and Latin from UMass Lowell.  I have also taken several computer science courses.
  My first teaching job was at UMass Lowell. I taught numerous math courses - from Algebra to Calculus 3 - as well as BASIC and FORTRAN programming.  I have also taught math at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska; Bellevue College in Bellevue, Nebraska; Metro Tech Community College in Omaha, Nebraska; and Daniel Webster College in Nashua, New Hampshire.
 My husband is Dr. Robert Costello, a chemistry professor at USC Sumter.  My son Eric is a student at Wilder Elementary.
