Late Exams:
You must take all exams at the prescribed time. Please DO NOT just MISS AN EXAM and hope I will accept the excuse. If you must miss, you must contact me immediately and have a valid and verifiable excuse, and you must make it up BEFORE the test is returned the rest of the class.
Late Projects:
All projects are due the beginning of the class period in which they are due. If you do not get the project turned in at the beginning of the class period it is due, then it may be turned at the beginning of the next class period and still be worth a possible 70%, or the beginning of the next period for a possible 50%. If it is not submitted at that time, you will receive a zero for that assignment. We do not drop any grades so be sure to get everything turned in on time.
Plagiarism / Cheating:
Any incident of cheating or plagiarism will automatically result with a grade of For the entire course. Please do not put either of us in this embarrassing situation.
Attendance:
USC Sumter's attendance policy as described in the USC Sumter Bulletin will be observed.
Three absences is considered excessive and will likely lower your grade. I know from past experience that it is hard to keep up with the material if you miss class. When you must miss class, be sure to make your own arrangements to get all announcements AND/OR HANDOUTS FROM A CLASSMATE. It is expected that you read the reading assignment BEFORE THE CLASS MEETING IN WHICH IT WILL BE DISCUSSED. It has been found that it takes much more time to make up material which you miss by skipping class than it does to attend regularly.
