SUBJECT: Privacy Indicators

In order to comply with privacy regulations, the following indicators have been developed to determine what information about students can or cannot be released.

The indicators and their values are as follows:

  1. - No information release

  2. - No telephone directory listing

  3. - No local information release

  4. - No permanent information release

  5. - No parent/guardian information release

  6. - No change of Local/Permanent/Parent/Guardian address without student-written permission

  7. - No e-mail/Internet address release

After each registration, the student listing is checked for privacy indicators.  If any are found, all staff members who have student listings are to be notified and the student listings are highlighted in yellow to indicate that a privacy indicator is set.
