Qualified undergraduate students may, in special cases, enroll for graduate credit in courses numbered 500 and above.

Work taken by undergraduates may be applied toward a graduate degree only if:

1. approval is obtained from the head of the major department concerned and the Dean of the Graduate School; and

2. the student has been accepted as a prospective graduate student; and

3. the student is adequately prepared for graduate work in the field concerned; and

4. this privilege is exercised only during the senior year.
