Classes Begin with a Bang!

Increased enrollment, heightened school spirit and positive attitudes paved the way for new beginnings for a lot of students, faculty and staff at USC Sumter this past month. Thanks to the hard work of many who scrambled to accommodate larger class sizes and advise more students, we can proudly say we had an enrollment increase on campus and school spirit is high. A welcome back Infestation Party sponsored by the Business Office and Student Life gave students a taste of college life with music, dancing, food and fun. Students got the chance to see Head Coach Fleenor, Assistant Coach Joye and Assistant Coach Cataldo show off some of their dance moves to kick off the start of fall practice season for the new athletes on campus. Overall, a great time was had by many students, faculty and staff in attendance.

Meet and Munch

The annual Meet and Munch sponsored by Student Life and the Alumni Association fed hungry students, faculty and staff with the usual favorites of hamburgers, hot dogs and chips. The event gave faculty and staff the chance to mix and mingle with students in a casual setting outside of the classroom, and gave the students what they love the most – a free lunch! Special entertainment was provided by Galen and thanks to all faculty and staff who went the extra mile to serve, cook or spend quality time with students at the event.
