Click the link above, then Alphabetical List, either Quick Search or Advanced Search, and finally select this title from the list. Updated bimonthly, the database covers communication-related publications on a world-wide scale. Articles, reports, papers, and books from a variety of publishers, research institutions and information sources also are available on topics such as international literature in film studies, the role of technology in human communications, risk communication, crisis communication, and public opinions.

This master index to Gale's major literature series contains references for more than 130,000 author names, including pseudonyms and variant names, and more than 140,000 literary works in one source.

JSTOR | | date varies |
JSTOR offers full-text online access to back issues of more than 100 scholarly journals in the humanities, social sciences, and sciences. Issues are entered online after having been published for 2-5 years. The entire printed matter of the journal as published is included, and coverage for most titles begins with their starting numbers. Adobe Acrobat Reader is necessary to view and print from JSTOR.

Literature Resource Center with MLA International Bibl. | |
This database offers information on works and literary figures from all time periods in genres such as fiction, nonfiction, poetry, drama, history, journalism, and more. It contains biographies, bibliographies, critical essays, overviews of literary works, authoritative author and literature related web sites, and approximately 250 well respected literary journals. An index of journal articles, books and dissertations. Produced by the Modern Language Association, the electronic version of the bibliography dates back to 1963 and contains over 1.6 million citations from more than 4,400 journals and series and 1,000 book publishers. Coverage is international and subjects include literature, language and linguistics, folklore, literary theory & criticism, dramatic arts, as well as the historical aspects of printing and publishing. Listings on rhetoric and composition and the history, theory and practice of teaching language and literature are also included. In addition, the MLA Directory of Periodicals and the association's proprietary thesaurus used to assign descriptors to each record in the bibliography are also included.

Oxford English Dictionary Online | |
Updated quarterly, OED Online contains the complete text of the 20-volume Second Edition and the 3-volume Additions Series. Many Additions entries are additions to entries that previously were published in the Second Edition; they are appended to the end of the appropriate Second Edition entry. Complete entries published for the first time in the Additions volumes are presented as free-standing entries along with entries from the Second Edition.
