Backdating is permissible only when a student has a registration exception after the last day to drop/add a course. A registration exception is when a student seeks to add a course, process a section change, or process a registration correction after the last day to drop/add. Backdating a drop is permissible only when a course has been cancelled by an academic division or the student is attending an incorrect section of the same course. All other situations must follow the guidelines that are stated in the Master Schedule of Classes.
