Student Orientation, Advisement and Registration (SOAR) is a vital part of the collegiate experience at USC Sumter. This program is designed to help you with the transition to college life and is REQUIRED for all new, degree-seeking, students to USC Sumter.

Registration for Summer/Fall 2013 SOAR will open January 15th.
There are 100 slots for each SOAR.
Registration will be closed the Monday prior to SOAR.
Students attending the earlier orientations will have the best course selection; please do not wait until the last minute.
A special orientation will take place on Friday, August 16th for all student accepted after July 12th.
SOAR sessions last a full day. Check-in begins at 8:00 AM in the Nettles Auditorium. The program starts promptly at 8:30AM and will last until 5:00 PM.

Things to Remember:
If you have not yet been accepted to USC Sumter, your registration will be cancelled.
Plan to be with us for the entire day.
Lunch is provided.
Parking is available next to the Nettles/Schwartz buildings.
Bring your SSN (Social Security Number) if you do not know it by memory.
