my.sc.edu and You: What You Need to Know
What is OneCarolina?
OneCarolina is the initiative that replaces the University’s suite of outdated administrative computing applications with one easily accessible, Web-based system. my.sc.edu is a product of OneCarolina.
When does this start?
my.sc.edu is the website that will allow students to register for classes and manage financial aid information for Fall 2013. For Summer I and Summer II 2013, you will continue to use VIP as you do today. By late 2013, the majority of student services will be accessible from my.sc.edu. Meanwhile, faculty will be able to communicate with students and assign grades. Staff will eventually do things like view their paycheck and manage their leave balance.
How will I sign in?
To access your personal information via my.sc.edu, sign in using your VIP ID and password when prompted. If you don't know your VIP ID or need password help, click here.
What do I need to do right now?
If you're a continuing student, nothing at the moment. You'll be receiving communications from the Records Office, Financial Aid Office, and your academic advisor on how to register for classes and manage your financial aid information for Fall 2013 via campus email.
How do I learn more?
