Newly Accepted Students This page is for degree-seeking students who have been accepted to the University of South Carolina Sumter.
Please carefully read your acceptance letter to see if you must submit any additional documentation or pay an application fee.
You will NOT be able to register for classes until all requested documentation is obtained and your application fee is paid.

Student Orientation Advisement and Registration (SOAR)* The following steps are required to finalize your registration: Register for SOAR at https://ire.uscsumter.edu/newstudsoar/newstuds.php If you have questions regarding SOAR, please contact Mrs. Mary Sutton at 803-775-USCS (8727). Register for an Advisement Appointment at http://www.uscsumtersoar.genbook.com within two weeks of your SOAR date. Your advisement appointment needs to take place before your SOAR date to ensure that you are able to register for classes at SOAR. If you have questions regarding your advisement appointment, please contact the Advisement and Counseling Office at 803-775-USCS (8727). Submit proof of two doses of MMR (Measles Mumps Rubella) or proof of immunity with the Immunization Documentation to the Records Office before your SOAR date. No other immunizations are required. If you have questions regarding your immunization documentation information, please contact the Records Office at 803-775-USCS (8727).
