In 1996 Shelby began working with computers at Central Carolina Technical College. She completed her Associate Degree in Business, Major in Computer Technology. She also received a certificate in Internetworking. Shelby plans on continuing her education here at USC Sumter. Her previous job was working at the City of Sumter as a Computer Technician. Shelby joined the USC Sumter family in May of 2000. She currently works as USC Sumter's Systems Support Technician. She also enjoys playing volleyball, softball, racquetball, and rollerblading.
