Sharon Mosgrove,

Assistant Professor of Mathematics

Sharon obtained her Ph.D. in Mathematics in the area of, Abstract Algebra, from the University of Iowa, and the title of her dissertation was “Star-Operations Induced by Overrings”. After receiving her Ph.D., she held positions at Pepperdine University, in Malibu, CA and at Concordia University, in St. Paul, MN, where she taught a wide range of math courses, did research, and advised and mentored students with many different socioeconomic and educational backgrounds. She truly loves teaching and all that it entails: interacting with students and colleagues and being current in math.

Sharon currently lives with her husband and 3 daughters. In her spare time she enjoys running, traveling, and cooking new recipes.
