Greg Keaton,

Assistant Baseball Coach

Greg Keaton is no stranger to the coaching ranks. Keaton, who has been with the USC Sumter program since its beginning, brings well over 20 years of experience at the high school and college level to Sumter. Keaton’s main duties include working with hitters and catchers, but he is involved with all facets of the program.

Keaton’s coaching stops include, Prince George’s C.C. (MD), Montgomery College-Rockville (MD), Davis and Elkins College (WV), and West Virginia University Tech (WV). His high school experience includes Logan High School and South Charleston High School (WV). While at Logan High School he was part of Four State Championships as both a coach and a player. Keaton was elected to the Logan High School Hall of Fame in 2009.

Keaton's summer coaching experience includes stints as head coach in the Mountain Atlantic League, Great Lakes Collegiate League, and the Valley Collegiate League (current) and as an assistant in both the Northwoods League and Southern Collegiate League. His summer experience also includes being the head coach of both the Logan and South Charleston Legion teams.
