Lisa Rosdail,
Program Director Opportunity Scholars Program
Academic Affairs
I am very excited to be the Program Director for the Opportunity Scholars Program here on the USC Sumter Campus. I hope that I can offer some good insights to USC Sumter students from my own experiences. My goal is to help the program continue to reach even higher levels of success. I love working with the students, faculty and staff and I am thrilled to be back on the USC Sumter campus. Sumter is where I grew up and my immediate family remains in this area. I graduated from USC Sumter in 1985 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration.
My retail career has afforded me the opportunity to live in many places. Brooks Fashions sent me to Savannah, GA where I also worked for The Body Shop. JC Penney moved me to Jacksonville, then to Daytona Beach, FL and back to Savannah. There I opened Mom & Me, my own retail business. My husband Eric's job moved us to Sumter.
Eric, my husband, is the Business Office Manager for the Tuomey Healthcare System. He is also a customer service consultant and trains security officers for other companies in our area. For fun, and in his spare time, he is a reserve police officer for the city of Manning. God has blessed us with a beautiful little girl. Her name is Bailey Maryanne born on October 23, 2002. We are all members of Bethesda Church of God where I am a choir member and also oversee the Girls Clubs on Wednesday nights.
I look forward to helping OSP students achieve their goals!
