Michele Reese joined the English Department in 2002.
She earned her:
Ph. D. in English (Creative Writing-Poetry) from the University of Missouri-Columbia,
M. A. in English (Creative Writing-Poetry) from the University of Southern Mississippi, and
B. A. in English (Creative Writing-Poetry) and
B. A. in Print Journalism from the University of Southern California
Professor Reese is primarily a poet who studies postcolonial and Diaspora literature along with twentieth century poetry.
