Instructional Laboratories Building
BUDGET$17,825,000 (estimate)
SCOPEConstruction of a new 40,000 square foot building to house the Math, Science and Engineering Division. The building is envisioned to include lecture rooms, science laboratories, art laboratory, and faculty offices.
STATUSOn Hold - Waiting on State bond bill. A building committee has been established to discuss the preliminary design requirements and is ready to resume more detail work when the funds become available. The request for state funding (Capital Improvement Bonds) has been sent to Columbia as part of our Comprehensive Permanent Improvement Plan (CPIP). This project remains the top priority in new construction on campus.

Old Science Building RenovationBUDGET$1,348,000 (estimate)
SCOPERenovate the existing Science Building to effectively utilize the total space available. After the construction of a new Instructional Laboratories Building, the old Science Building can be completely renovated into a general classroom building.
STATUSThe timetable for this project is totally dependent on the construction of the Instructional Laboratories building. A starting date cannot be projected at this time.

Facilities Management CenterBUDGET$675,000
SCOPEConstruction of a 15,000 Sq. Ft. facility to house the maintenance functions, shipping and receiving, warehouse, storage, as well as other facilities service functions.
STATUSThe timetable for this project is totally dependent on the construction of other permanent buildings. A starting date cannot be projected at this time.
