The Sumter Partnership of the USC Educational Foundation (SPUSCEF) gives guidance and direction to USC Sumter fund-raising programs and helps provide an additional source of income to the University so that it can better fulfill its mission. Charitable gifts allow the University to achieve a level of excellence within its programs and activities that would not be possible otherwise. More specifically SPUSCEF oversees the University's $1.8 million endowments and provides additional resources for scholarships, professorships, emergency loans for students, faculty/staff development, art-related activities and recognition of outstanding employees
