Alumni Events "Totally Rad Homecoming" 2010!
The USC Sumter Alumni Association is going back to school in the 80s! For the fifth consecutive year of USC Sumter’s Homecoming, we have decided to dress in our favorite neon colors, embody icons of the decade and play a few games and maybe even dance to some classic 80s music. We will be having a contest for the best 80s costume….so pull out your old clothes that you can’t bear to part with and tease up that hair and join us for our Homecoming Shindig on Friday, March 19, 2010 in the Nettles Building as we party hardy at our “Totally Rad Homecoming.” The cost is $15.00 per person and $10.00 per student (must show ID).
On Saturday, join the USC Sumter baseball and softball teams for the games at Riley Park and Palmetto Ball Park. Fire Ants Baseball against USC Lancaster Riley Ball Park 1:00 p.m. Fire Ants Softball against Southeastern Community College Palmetto Ball Park 2:00 and 4:00 p.m. View the Homecoming 2010 postcard here. Download the registration form here Submit RSVP Can You Tell? If you have seen any of our postcards, emails or facebook photos…you have seen our USC Sumter versions of classic 80s icons. The awesome participants who were willing to dress in 80s attire and be photographed are all connected to USC Sumter in a BIG way. Some are alumni. We have others who have been on this campus for years as faculty and staff. The following is a list of all of these USC Sumter alumni, faculty and staff who only wish they could be as cool as their 80s counterparts. _____________________________________ Bill Cosby in his infamous JELL-O pudding commercials – Lynwood Watts, Associate Dean for Student Affairs
