USC Sumter full-time faculty are required to take part in the peer review process.

Review is suspended for Deans, Associate Deans, and Assistant Deans with faculty rank for the duration of the administrative appointment. At the expiration of the administrative appointment, review for these faculty members begins at year one of the process described in 110A.

Schedule of review

  1. All untenured full-time faculty members will receive an annual peer review (or its substitute as indicated below in 3).

  2. All tenured faculty members will receive a regular peer review (or its substitute) at least every third year.

  3. The existing procedures for third-year reviews, tenure reviews, reviews for promotion, and post-tenure reviews may substitute for peer review in the years in which these processes occur.
