Contact Betty Watson in the
Business Office at 938-3783 to make arrangements to
satisfy the conditions of the hold obligation.
Yes, the University has developed
a deferred payment plan. This plan may be obtained
under certain conditions. Please contact Betty Watson
in the Business Office for specific deferred
payment guidelines after you have registered for
classes. See this page
for
additional information.
All deferred payment agreements
require payment of a portion of fees up front, plus a
non-refundable $50 administrative fee. Three additional
payments will be set up at pre-determined dates in
the semester. The subsequent payments must be paid by
the due date or a financial hold will be placed on a
student’s records. A late fee is charged for each day
that a payment is late.
Deferred payment plans are not available for
Summer and students must be taking at
least six credit hours.
As always, you should consult your
tax advisor for guidance. The University does not
provide income tax assistance. However, you can
obtain complete information for this deduction in IRS
Publication 970 – "Tax Benefits for Higher
Education". This publication is available directly
from the IRS and may be downloaded from the IRS
website at
