SCOPE
|
Construction of a new 40,000 square foot building to house the Math,
Science and Engineering Division. The building is envisioned to include
lecture rooms, science laboratories, art laboratory, and faculty offices.

STATUS
|
A building committee has been established to discuss the preliminary
design requirements and is ready to resume more detail work when the funds
become available. The request for state funding (Capital Improvement Bonds)
has been sent to Columbia as part of our Comprehensive Permanent Improvement
Plan (CPIP). This project remains the top priority in new construction
on campus.

Building, the old Science Building can be completely renovated into a
general classroom building.
