DEFERRED PAYMENT PLAN

The University has developed a Deferred Payment Plan to aid students in paying their fees. This plan may be obtained under certain conditions:

• Returning students must have a GPA of at least 2.0
• Students must be in good financial standing with the University and have no outstanding past due charges
• Students must be taking a minimum of 6 Sumter credit hours
• A deferment will be granted for Sumter campus tuition only
• Students must be prepared to pay 25% of their tuition down and the $50 deferment fee

Satisfaction of the above criteria does not guarantee that a student will receive a deferment. All students seeking deferred payments must see the Business Office personnel during the walk-in fee payment in Room 214 of the Administration Building.

All payments for deferred tuition are due in cash or check. No credit cards will be accepted for payment of deferred tuition. No partial payments are accepted. Deferments must be completed by the fee payment deadline to avoid cancellation of the student schedule.
