John Ryan Steele comes to the Fire Ants program in the spring of '08 after a successful playing career. Steele, a three time All-State player for Logan High School, (Logan, WV) played junior college baseball for Jefferson Davis Community College (Brewton,AL). Steeele then finished his playing career at West Virginia Tech (Montgomery, WV).
John Ryan will be finishing his bachelor's degree in Marketing through the University of South Carolina. This will be Steele's first collegiate coaching experience after coaching summer ball programs in West Virginia.
