Joined USC Sumter in September 1990. Originally from Lancaster, SC. A 1981 graduate of The Citadel and 1983 graduate of The University of Tennessee Knoxville.

Previously the Assistant Dean for Student Services at Gordon College in Barnesville GA.

His wife, (Terri) a USC Sumter alum, teaches and coaches at Alice Drive Middle School. Their two daughters are Brittnii and Kaitlyn.
