A Sumter native, Lydia is a graduate of Wilson Hall in Sumter, SC, and graduated with a B.S. degree in Business Administration from Winthrop College (now Winthrop University) in Rock Hill, SC.

Since arriving at USC Sumter in February, 1980, Lydia has worked in the Admissions Services Office in several capacities. She has since been promoted to data manager for the Admissions Services Office and is primarily responsible for the processing of admissions applications, records maintenance of applicant files and correspondence to applicants.

Lydia enjoys activities with her husband, three children and dog and is the pianist for her church.
