Assistant Baseball Coach

JJ Joye is a 2001 graduate of Manning High School and is currently in his first year as a collegiate coach. He is currently working on his Education Degree at USC Sumter. His main duties include coaching the infielders, assisting with the hitters, and recruiting.
Joye played his collegiate baseball at USC Salkehatchie under the legendary Joe Baxter. While prepping at Manning, he also played summer baseball for the highly-regarded Diamond Devils organization based in Charleston. He has since rejoined the Diamond Devils as a coach and will be heading up the 15-and-under team in the summer of 2007.
In 2005, Joye started his coaching career as an assistant for Manning High School before being named the Head Coach for the J.V. squad the following year. He has also founded the “Boys of Summer Baseball”, a training camp which also provides individual instruction for youth players.
Summer 2008, helped lead the Diamond Devils 17U team to titles in two national championship tournaments, including Perfect Game (192 teams) in Marietta, GA and the Continental Amatures Baseball Association (CABA) World Series in Charleston, SC (20 teams, including Puerto Rico National team).
Joye is currently single and resides in Manning.
