Elizabeth White, a native of Sumter, graduated from Wilson Hall School in 1987. She then attended USC Sumter, where she received an Associate of Arts degree in 1989. In 1991, she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education from Coastal Carolina University. In 1993, she received a Master of Education degree in Student Personnel Services from USC Columbia, where she was employed as a graduate assistant for the University 101 program.

Elizabeth has been employed at USC Sumter as a staff member since May 1993. In January 1996, she joined the Office of Financial Aid, Scholarships, and Veterans Affairs in the position of Data Manager. She is responsible for awarding Federal financial aid, determining student eligibility for aid, processing the majority of financial aid applications, performing verification of student information, processing incoming and outgoing financial aid transcripts, and auditing student files to ensure accuracy and correctness. She also determines the distribution of student refunds and repayments to Federal Title IV financial aid programs. Elizabeth serves as an instructor for the University 101 course.
