English

A member of the English Department at USC Sumter since 1974, Professor Ellen Arl holds a

• B.A. from St.  Xavier College in Chicago, Illinois; an
• M.F.A. in Writing from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro; and an
• M.A. in English Literature from Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana;
• and has completed additional coursework in English Literature, Reading, the Teaching of Writing at the Post-Secondary Level, and Art History at various universities.

Professor Arl regularly teaches English 101, 102,and 460.
