Laura Cardello is currently the Galleries and Exhibits Assistant for the Division of Arts and Letters. She is also the resident potter at the Sumter County Gallery of Art. Although pottery has be her main form of art she has also worked for the Sumter Daily Item as a stringer photographer. She has won awards for both mediums in state and local competitions. She is an active member of the Sumter Artist Guild, Sumter County Fair Art Show and a board member of the Sumter County Cultural Commission.
