George (Bob) Thompson began working at USC Sumter in 1990. He retired from the Air Force in 1986 after a 22 year career in Aircraft Electronics (Avionics), and then spent four years as a computer programmer, technical support provider, and technician before coming to USC. He currently works as USC Sumter's network manager and computer maintenance technician. He also plays guitar and enjoys riding motorcycles.
