Sumter Partnership
USC Educational Foundation

The Sumter Partnership of the University of South Carolina Educational Foundation was established in 1984 to receive and administer funds and gifts for academic, cultural and educational purposes for the exclusive use and benefit of the University of South Carolina at Sumter. The goals of the Partnership remain focused on scholarship development, faculty/staff development, endowment growth, increased library holdings and program development.

The U.S. Internal Revenue Code recognizes the USC Educational Foundation as a Section 501 (c) (3) type organization. All gifts to the Foundation are tax deductible to the full extent of the law. Gifts can be in the form of cash, securities, personal property, equipment, real estate. You can also make a planned gift through your estate. and bequest donations. Donations can be made for general or restricted purposes.

In addition, many employers participate in matching gift programs for educational institutions. They match donations made by their employees in some cases as much as 3 to 1.
